I founded Caulk in Colour in 2017, but my caulking story started much earlier than that, back in the summer of 1999.
That was the summer my dad started taking me to jobs with him, no longer to play, but to learn how to work.
And I did learn, a lot of this and a bit of that, but most of all, caulking. It was the first job my dad trusted me with alone, and the first job I found real satisfaction in.
Caulking finishes the job, you see. The caulker gets to enjoy the end product of days or months of hard work by all sorts of trades and professional.
Over the summers and years that followed I learned a lot about the building game, and perfected my techniques for caulking with a huge range of products and surfaces, both indoor and outdoor, domestic and commercial. Eventually, caulking for my dad’s business became my fulltime game.
Then I had a family, two beautiful little boys, and decided to build my own business, a specialist company dedicated to professional caulking finishes.
And so, from a family tradition and a lifetime of experience, Caulk in Colour was born.
